Can I refer myself? 

We accept self referrals in some cases, for example for hearing assessments. We always recommend in the first instance that you contact us for guidance on 01270 211009 where Gill or Natalie will be happy to advise you further. If we see you directly for an assessment and feel you need a medical doctor to look at your ears we will advise you of this at your appointment. 

Can my GP or ENT consultant refer me? 

Yes! Although we accept self referrals, we sometimes require a medical referral first from either your GP or your ENT consultant. This is particularly the case if you would like to use private medical insurance to cover the cost of your appointment. 

Do I need to get authorisation from my insurance company before I come for my appointment? 

It depends. In most cases where there is a charge for the appointment and you wish to use private health insurance, you will need to contact them and advise them that you wish to have an appointment with us. Please speak to us first so we can guide you as to the tests that are likely to be required, and to give you our registration number for your insurance company so that they can trace us. We are registered with all major private health insurance companies.
